Since the Coronavirus Lockdown on 23rd March whilst the cattery has remained open, we have been empty which has been a challenging time for us. Anyone who cancelled their booking after 23rd March has had their account credited with the deposit they had already paid (despite our T&C's). We are aware that this has been a challenging time for everyone and we want our customers and their lovely cats to return to us.
We are still receiving bookings for later in the year and next year (Christmas is fully booked) and you can continue to book via this website. Unfortunately we are not allowing viewings at this time.
Changes to our normal procedure are as follows:
Please don't bring your cat to us if you have had symptoms of Covid-19 in the 7 days prior to drop off (or collection or if you are self isolating due to being in contact with someone confirmed to have have the virus)
Please don't bring any bedding, toys or scratch posts from home at this time. You can still bring food if you want your cat to stay on a particular diet. Don't bring bowls. We are still unable to accept cats on medication (except pain relief or dietary supplements)
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org a photo of your cat's up to date vaccination card prior to boarding
and advise of any information you feel we should be aware of
We MUST be provided with an emergency contact of someone who would be able to collect your cat on your behalf should either you or we become ill during your cat's stay. We are a family run business so if one of us has symptoms we will all have to self isolate for 14 days and your cat would need to be collected
Payment for your cat's stay must be made via the link emailed to you prior to drop off. We are not accepting payment on site
When arriving, we will open the reception door and will ask you to leave your cat in its box just inside the door. We will collect your cat and take it to it's pen. You are welcome to follow us outside to see where your cat will be staying through the perspex windows.
When you book you are asked to select a time for drop off and collection. Please stick to these times as that is when we will be expecting you. For collection, your cat will be placed in its box 5 mins prior to your time so if you are late your cat will be waiting in its box!
If on arrival you can see another customer dropping off or collecting, please wait in your car until they are back in theirs.
Please don't touch our gate or door handles.
Hopefully with these measures in place we can protect one another whilst still providing excellent care for your feline friends. We look forward to looking after them! 🐱
